A delegation from the US Congress is planning a trip to Pakistan immediately after Thanksgiving break, said an announcement of Pakistani American Leadership Center (PALC).

Co-Chair of the Pakistan Caucus Congressman Dan Burton will be leading the group, which will comprise Co-Chair of the Pakistan Caucus Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congresswoman Cubin Barbara, Congressman Cliff Stearns, Congressman McCarthy, Congressman Steve Pearce, Congresswoman Judy Biggert, Congressman Joe Wilson and Congressman Al Green.

"The delegation is expected to call on President General Pervez Musharraf and visit the areas affected by the earthquake," the announcement added.

The PALC's objective is to serve the interests of the Pakistani American community in the United States, to promote a positive image of Pakistan and Pakistani Americans, and to increase their effective participation in America's political and public policy arenas.
